Get ready to show your Sabercat pride and be part of one of the biggest community events of the summer — the Douglas County Fair Parade on Saturday, July 26th! This is an awesome opportunity for our players and families to come together, have a blast, and put Sabercat Hockey in the spotlight!

We’ve got three exciting ways to get involved — pick one or do them all!

🛠️ 1. Help Build the Sabercat Float!

We’re creating a float that roars with team spirit, and we need your creative minds and helping hands! Whether you’ve got design ideas, decorations, materials, or even a trailer we can use — we’d love your help!

🙌 2. Volunteer for Parade Set-Up (8–15 Needed)

Be part of the behind-the-scenes action!

📍 Meet at: Douglas County Fairgrounds

⏰ Time: 8:00 AM

Volunteers will help set up along the route (expect a bit of walking), and you’ll still have plenty of time to jump on the float afterward.

✅ Safety gear provided, volunteer hours documented, and your good deeds might even get featured on local platforms!

🏒 3. Walk or Ride in the Parade – All Players Welcome!

We want every player in the parade — walking, riding, or showing off their skills! Bring an old stick and dazzle the crowd with your puck-handling — especially when we pass the judges!

🎯 Goalies, if you're feeling bold, suit up in full gear! You’ll turn heads in the best way (totally optional, but awesome!).
