Mental Performance

The Castle View Mental Performance training program supports athletes in developing the skills and tools that elevate athletic performance and well-being. Our program starts in the summer and runs the whole length of the season.
During mindset training sessions, the goal is to increase performance and well-being on and off the ice. In session, athletes will experience dynamic mental exercises like meditation, breathwork, relaxation, goal setting, Imagery, self-talk, and routine building.
Our Leadership & Team Culture Program runs across the season, in conjunction with the mindset training. We blend workshops, on and off-ice activities, and retreats to provide athletes with a robust sense of identity. Give players the tools to lead themselves and their teammates, and create a team that performs under pressure and stays united through every challenge.
The program is run by our Director of Mental Performance, Ryan Ford, who is the co-founder of Fortitude Mental Performance. Fortitude also brings along graduate assistants from the University of Denver’s Master's in Sports & Performance Psychology program to work with our athletes.
If you are interested in working with Ryan or one of the graduate students on an individual basis, please contact Ryan via email at ryan@fortitude.coach
